Race Summary

In a Race, just like a Points Tournament, players are competing against each other with the target to collect as many points as possible. The difference in the Race is that all players get a fixed number of spins during which they can collect their points, making it more suitable for a shorter and more fast-paced campaign.

You as a user decide the number of spins you want for the race, and there is no minimum or maximum number of spins. Each player gets one attempt to collect points, no retries or restarts.

The player who collects the most points during the selected number of spins will be the winner of the Race by the time the campaign ends. 

Given that a Race only has a fixed number of Spins, compared to a Tournaments unlimited number of Spins, we recommend Races to run for a shorter period of time. For example 30 minutes / 1 hour / a few hours / - depending on your expected activity levels and the number of spins required in the Race.


Leaderboard Creation

After deciding on the Minimum bet, the number of spins, and the eligible games, you move on to setting up the leaderboard. The Unibo prize tool allows you to set prizes specifically for a position, or the same prize for a range of positions. For example, you might want positions 1-3 to get different cash prizes, but positions 4-10 should receive the same amount of free spins.  This leaderboard tool allows you to do that.



Setting your point structure

After setting up the prize structure, you can add the various tasks that should earn the player points in the tournament. The available tasks are the same tasks as in  Missions , where you can find further information on each task.

A typical point structure for a Slots Race could be, for example:
  • Every €1 wagered - 1 point
  • Every 3 wins in a row - 5 points
  • Every 10x win - 20 points
  • Every 25x win - 50 points
  • Every 50x win - 200 points

This way, players are getting points for both wagerings, but also for winning, and winning big. You can also eliminate the points for wagering/turnover, which gives all players the same chance - regardless of their stake.


Adjusting for different games and player groups

The Race offers a lot of flexibility and can easily be adjusted to fit the player group you want to target and the games you want to include. The number of spins you set for the Race combined with the campaign length determines the commitment you require from the players.

You can run a Roulette Race just as well as a Slots Race, just by adjusting the points structure to better fit the payouts of the game.

You can also tailor the point structure depending on what player group you want to attract, whether it's your average players, your VIPs, or everyone together.
