Prize Drops

Summary

Prize Drop is a great campaign type to use across a variety of games. You can easily combine games from all your game categories in the same campaign since the campaign is not directly related to any game mechanics such as wins-in-a-row, win-multipliers, hit-frequency, or similar.

It's also a good campaign type to mix players of different values, as there are no value-based tasks such as Turnover. Any bet can win, meaning that your higher-value players as well as lower-value players have a chance to win prizes, although the more you bet, the higher is the chance to win.

For more information about how the mechanics and logic of this campaign type, and how to create a Prize Drop campaign, see  this part of the User Guide .

What Prizes should I use in a Prize Drop campaign?

Just like any other Unibo campaign, you can mix and match between the available prize types as you wish. For example, you can use anything from Cash and Bonus Prizes to Free Spins and physical prizes such as electronic gadgets, experiences, vouchers, or other items of your choice.

A common way to structure the prize pool in a Prize Drop campaign is to have a mix of higher-valued prizes and lower-valued prizes. That gives your players something big to aim for while the smaller prizes keep them entertained along the way.

Things to Keep in Mind

  • The prizes will be distributed evenly throughout the campaign period. This means that, if you do a 24-hour Campaign with 240 prizes, there will be 10 prizes paid out every hour.
  • Make sure you have enough game-play during each hour of your campaign, to ensure that the prizes will be paid out and do not have too large prize pools.
  • If a prize is not paid out during its hourly block, it will be moved to the next hour and be paid out to the first player making a bet in the new hourly block.
  • Players can win a maximum of 1 prize per hourly block.
